Who are we?

Capucine Demnard devised VedaCare to harness the complementarity of various natural therapies practiced by experienced professionals within a shared ethical framework.

Capucine Demnard,

VedaCare founder

Capucine Demnard has formulated her holistic and spiritual approach over the course of a lifetime, building on her advanced university studies, a demanding therapeutic practice, and cultural experiences gained all over the world – from Asia to Africa to Latin America. Based on a conception of human beings that accords equal importance to body and mind, Capucine gradually forged an approach that can be integrated into our daily lives to improve our self-understanding and quality of life.

Capucine studied Music Therapy at the medical faculty of Nimes-Montpellier University, specifically to ease end-of-life suffering and working with people who’d suffered craniocerebral trauma. She’s also a qualified Hatha yoga teacher and artistic director.

As a creative therapist specialising in listening and sound, Capucine uses her imaginative, playful methodology to help people of all ages (and entire families) to listen better – to themselves and others, to their environment, and to situations.

She started out setting up and directing the Fuga Musique and Felicidad agencies for classical music, contemporary dance and multidisciplinary productions. She specialised in finding operatic singers, and eventually an interest in non-verbal language led to her using music to treat Alzheimer patients and others in university hospitals in Jonzac, Bordeaux, Nimes and Montpellier.

With further musical, scientific and artistic research, she developed her practice to encompass working with children, teenagers and younger adults.

Capucine practices mainly in Barcelona, Paris and Arles and is always open to new encounters and exchanging ideas through the many courses and events she leads and takes part in.
